Tell Me Thursday – 26th Edition

tmt125x125

This week I’m gonna skip all the pleasantries in order to get right down to the heart of the matter. Round about 6 years ago, the husband and I traveled to England for business. There were two different vendor/customers that we intended to meet with while visiting who happened to be in two different parts of England. Bonus! We also planned to do a bit of sight-seeing, as well. Duh. Who would go to England and not sight-see?! That would be ludicrous.

We started the trip in London visiting all the usual touristy spots, blah, blah, blah, I won’t bore you with any more of those details, then we stopped in Bath, England to visit the Roman baths and of course Stonehenge. It was during this portion of the trip that we stumbled upon (and that’s no reference to stumbleupon. we did just happen to stumble upon) the store that you see in my Wordless Wednesday photo from yesterday.

I love Paddington Bear! He’s such a cute character. Plus, I’m a semi-closet Anglophile. Our first pet dog -as a couple- in our first home is named Paddington. As an aside, he’s 15 years old now. We didn’t actually name him Paddington… the pet adoption people named him that because his fur at the time was the exact same color & he looked like a little bear. I’ve always enjoyed reading the Paddington Bear stories to Honey bunny who was about 3 years old when we took this trip. Now, Pumpkin loves to hear me read these stories. So, clearly, it was imperative for me to take this photo to show Honey bunny and keep for my own memories.

Thanks for listening (or reading, if you must be technical),
Ciao
